SykerFlex wants people to be able to access practical training, nutrition and online coaching information regardless of device, technology or disability. This statement explains the accessibility measures used on sykerflex.com and how to report a problem.

Accessibility approach

The website aims to follow the principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA where reasonably possible. This is an ongoing aim rather than a claim that every page or third-party feature is fully conformant.

Measures currently included

  • Responsive layouts designed for phones, tablets, laptops and large screens.
  • Keyboard-accessible navigation, links, buttons and visible focus indicators.
  • Structured headings, landmark regions and descriptive page titles.
  • Readable colour contrast, scalable text and comfortable line spacing.
  • Alternative text for meaningful images where available.
  • Reduced-motion support for visitors who prefer less animation.
  • Clear form labels, status messages and skip-to-content navigation.

Known limitations

Some older article content, externally embedded services, retailer pages, payment-provider screens or third-party media may not meet the same accessibility standard. Product images supplied by external retailers may also have limited descriptions. I review new templates and will improve older content as issues are identified.

Using browser and device tools

You can usually zoom the page, enlarge text, use browser reader modes, navigate with a keyboard or use assistive technologies supported by your device. The site is designed to reflow at smaller widths without requiring horizontal scrolling for ordinary text content.

Requesting information in another format

If you need website information in a more accessible format, email coach@sykerflex.com. Tell me which page or content you need and the format that would help. I will respond as soon as reasonably possible.

Reporting an accessibility problem

If something is difficult to use, please include the page URL, device or browser, the problem encountered and any assistive technology being used. This information helps me reproduce and correct the issue without asking for unnecessary personal details.

Continuous improvement

Accessibility is considered when layouts, menus, articles, forms and interactive features are updated. This statement will be reviewed as the website changes and after significant accessibility improvements.
