This privacy policy explains how SykerFlex and Roland Balogh collect, use and protect personal information when you visit sykerflex.com, request online personal training or nutrition coaching, contact me or join the newsletter.
Who is responsible for your information
SykerFlex is operated by Roland Balogh in the United Kingdom. For privacy questions or requests, email coach@sykerflex.com.
Information I may collect
I may collect your name, email address, contact details, coaching enquiries, goals, training experience, dietary preferences and information you choose to share through forms or direct communication. If health, injury or medical information is relevant to safe coaching, it is requested only when necessary and handled with additional care.
The website may also process limited technical information such as device type, browser, page visits, referral source and privacy preferences. Optional analytics are not activated unless you allow them.
How and why information is used
Information is used to answer enquiries, assess whether coaching is suitable, deliver agreed services, personalise training and nutrition support, process newsletter requests, maintain security and meet accounting or legal obligations. Depending on the activity, the lawful basis may be consent, steps taken before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests or compliance with a legal obligation. Where special-category health information is required, I will rely on an appropriate additional condition such as your explicit consent.
Payments and service providers
Payments may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe, Klarna or your bank. SykerFlex does not store your full card number. Hosting, email, website-security and analytics suppliers may process limited information on my behalf under their own safeguards and privacy terms.
Newsletter communication
If you ask to receive SykerFlex training and nutrition updates, your email address is used for that purpose. You can unsubscribe or withdraw consent at any time by using the option provided in an email or contacting me.
Retention and security
I keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose collected, to provide coaching, resolve queries and meet legal, tax or record-keeping requirements. Reasonable technical and organisational safeguards are used, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Your UK data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information, and you may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Contact me first if you would like me to investigate or resolve a concern.
External links and updates
Articles may link to external services, including Amazon affiliate products. Those websites control their own privacy practices. This policy may be updated when the website, coaching services or legal requirements change; the latest version will remain on this page.
